Talk to someone who knows what it’s like to live with SBS

Short Bowel Syndrome (SBS) is a rare disease, but you are not alone. If you’re an adult with SBS who needs additional nutrition or hydration via intravenous (IV) feeding, or if you help take care of someone who is, consider scheduling a call with a Patient Ambassador through our peer mentor program, SBS Connect.

Shire Patient Ambassadors are adults with SBS who know what it’s like to be on parenteral support and who have experience taking GATTEX®. You can ask questions, hear his or her story and learn from his or her personal experience with SBS and treating with GATTEX.
